In 2008, BCI commissioned some research to help identify existing best practices that might be available to address the BCI Production Principles and Enabling Mechanisms. The research reports are available to download below.

The BCI has also conducted regional research on Decent Work and Access to finance. These reports are available to BCI members.


In 2006, BCI commissioned research to enable the BCI Steering Committee to determine an initial framework on social and labour issues that could define the scope of Better Cotton, by defining the key drivers that affect labour and social conditions in cotton production.
