There are currently 9 BCI projects working towards growing Better Cotton in India. Solidaridad and WWF India are BCI Implementing Partners in India.

History: consultation with the regional working group
The India Regional Working Group included stakeholders from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Maharastra.
The second meeting of the India Regional Working Group was held in January 2009. A report from this meeting is available to download.
