Cotton use calculation tools for Retailers and Brands
To help Retailers and Brands calculate their cotton use, in order to determine the level of their membership fee, BCI has developed a calculation tool. This calculation tool necessarily makes some broad assumptions at a global level about the types of spinning, product weights, and losses through dyeing and cut and sew. Therefore companies who have more accurate and accessible data to calculate the total cotton volume use can do their own calculations. We are currently updating the calculation tool and will make it available for downloading soon. In the meantime, please contact us at membership[at]bettercotton.org if you are interested in using the tool.
